Winter Asian Green Salad

Ingredients

4/5 baby gem lettuce

1 cucumber

2 avocado

Sesame seeds

Parsley

1 Lemon

 

Dressing

2 tbsp mirin

1 tbsp tamari

4 tbsp olive oil

1 tbsp honey

2 tbsp mayonasse

pinch of salt and pepper

 

Method

  1. Cut the gem lettuce in halves, lengthways.
  2. Slice the avocados.
  3. Using a peeler cut strips of cucumber like ribbons
  4. Place the avocados first on the platter, then the gem lettuce and the cucumber ribbons twirled on.
  5. Sprinkle with the sesame seeds.
  6. Drizzle with the dressing and garnish with chopped parsley and some lemon wedges.
