Table Styling: Host the Perfect Brunch

Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or just want to get the girls round, brunch is that gorgeously relaxed, versatile meal that has something for everyone.
It should also feel easy-like-Sunday-morning to throw together, which is why I designed this beautiful table setting that's super simple to recreate. Style it up or down depending on how fancy you're feeling!

HOW TO HOST THE PERFECT BRUNCH

1. DESIGN YOUR MENU

Brunch should feel as easy to prepare as it is to enjoy, so find what works for you. It can be as simple as popping to your favourite bakery for some fresh croissants and cakes and laying them out with some toast, granola, tea and juice. Or you can go the fancy route by whipping up some pancakes and cracking open the bubbles. If you're looking for a simple and delicious recipe that's great for groups to share, our Turkish Style Breakfast Eggs are just the thing!

2. LAY YOUR TABLE

Channel the weekend vibe by keeping things relaxed, effortless and stylish. I mix and matched everything from the chairs I put around the table, to the napkins, tablecloths and crockery. I opted for my very favourite vintage teacups and teapot, and added pops of colour by using our gorgeously bright Teal Bistro Cutlery and pretty Salt Pink Bubble Tumblers. I set place settings by layering our White Bead Dinner plates with a selection of our Vintage China plates, but you could also just stack single plates at one end of the table with some napkins and let your guests help themselves. A simple wooden bread board with freshly sliced bread works perfectly as a centrepiece, and for extra elegance I tied some pink ribbons to my champagne glasses and scattered some extra ribbon around the table too. Cake stands are a unique way to present a stack of pancakes, and wine glasses are the perfect pretty alternative to bowls for fruit and yoghurt.

3. SET THE MOOD

Before your guests arrive, don't forget to brew a fresh pot of tea or coffee, have some extra bubbly chilling in the fridge, and pop on one of your favourite playlists!

I hope you have so much fun making this one your own and hosting an unforgettable brunch!
