Baked Brie Slices

This is the easiest of starter dishes. It requires around 5 minutes preparation and 10 minutes in the oven. It’s perfect for those last minute guests or for an occasion where you’d really rather be enjoying the party than cooking.

Ingredients

4 slices of Brie

6 figs

Walnuts

Honey

Pomegranate seeds

Micro greens

Method

Place the Brie slices onto baking parchment. Slice the figs into quarters and place them on top of the Brie. Drizzle the honey over in a zigzag motion. Heat the oven to 180C and cook for 5-10 minutes – until you see the cheese has started to bubble. Remove from the oven and add a sprinkle of micro greens, a handful of walnuts and pomegranate seeds. You have the option here to drizzle some more honey.

You can serve this with sliced bread or crackers or both. It’s a good idea to offer with extra nuts, pomegranate seeds and fig slices so your guests can add to taste. This is one of the most moreish dishes I’ve made and couldn’t be easier to prepare.
