3 Easy Ideas for Decorating A Baby Shower

A very close friend of mine is about to have her first baby and it goes without saying that I wouldn’t have let this moment pass without putting on a grand celebration to welcome the new arrival!

BABY SIGN

My table centrepiece was a sign that said ‘BABY’. I bought the white letters from Hobby Craft and used a glue gun to decorate with sprinkles, mini flowers, mini leaves and confetti. For a final touch, I covered in glitter glue for a bit of sparkle.

THE CAKE

The cake is always something people love and often a Kodak moment. I decorated this cake with flowers, sprinkles and a wooden LOVE topper. It looked a perfect picture of fertility and was gone within half an hour!

MINI BABY GROWS

It always seems appropriate to decorate baby showers with mini things. I made these sweet paper baby grows to scatter on the table. I cut out the below template and traced around it on ombre coloured paper then cut out multiple times. Then I had some fun with the different designs. For example, I added stitching, pockets and buttons to the baby grows. I captioned them all with cute sayings such as ‘Yummy Mummy’, but you can write whatever you like!
